My Bio
Mobile became my home at the early age of three; been here ever since, sixty four years. Painting became a pursuit about grade four, progressed a bit through high school, then off to studies at Auburn University and The University of South Alabama. Attended quality workshops forever and where ever, but for the most part progress came with focused self study. With the help of good texts and determination, I formed and polished my concepts and skills. Lots of help from the artists at Mississippi Art Colony over many years added to my appreciation of expressive techniques, artistic skills and talents. Did watercolor, etching, pastels, protraits, pencil, ink, acrylics, and finally settled on what I love to do most: paint with oils on canvas, board and paper. Lots of thanks to lots of people along the way. I won't name them because you won't know them, but I'll never forget them.
I paint for one reason, because I love it; it is my passion and my life's work outside of home, family and garden.
I really hope that you will enjoy this work. This website will be updated regularly with new work available for sale, and I will have high quality digital images suitable for giclee prints available.
Feel free to call, email or write me about my paintings whenever the impulse strikes you.
